Soft Starters

RSS1S,RSS1A,RSS1D ,RSS1DH series solid state soft starter range is used when it is important to have a smooth start-up of various types of motor drives, instead of switching directlty to fuull voltage the softstarter ensures a gradual voltage increase .five versions available: R1S03-25,R1S18/30...142/245,R1A18-60 R1D75-840 and R1DH30-720

R1S03-R1S25 is a compact solution for small motor mounting is on 35mm DIN rail, this small softstarter has a built-in bypass contact .

R1S18/30...R1S142/245 for normal duty applications and connection both "Inline " and "Inside Delta"(compare the connection with a standard Y/D starter), The result of "Inside delta" connection is a 42%reduction of the current exposed to the softstarter, it will then be possible, forexample: to start and run a 100A motor using a 58A softstarter .

An optional "current limit" function is available .two signal relays are built in as standards.This softstarter has a service factor of 1.15 which means the maximum operational current is 1 (rated current)X15.



R1A18... R1A60...R1D75...R1D840 and R1DH30 ...R1D720 softstarters have a robust design in metal housing for many types of applications ,both normal duty and heavy duty, Fexible parameter settings with potentiometers and clear indication with LEDS of status and faults on front of the unit. The optional built in advanced electronic overload relay(always included as standard for R1DH versions) provides much better motor protection tahn a conventional bimetallic relay , for example in intermittent duty
